Your story
It's that time of year!!! Fall is in the air. In the second wing near the main corridor there is an alumni showcase we maintain. The theme changes. At this time we would like to display alumni experiences that will motivate our current students and let others know what great things you have done. Please submit a photo from your high school days or current and short bio regarding a college or professional accomplishment to epalumni@gmail.com if you would like your story displayed. Thank you for your help.

More Lost History
We seem to have lost many records for athletic, arts, and academic awards, other than those in the Corridor and Showcases. If you hold any records or received honors (league, county, state, scholar, etc.) while at EPMHS, please let me know. I must ask, that we keep this completely honest, so that we may have a credible history.
Our alumni include many, many individuals who have noteworthy achievements after graduating, in college and after; for example, military, sports, arts, professional/career. We would like to know about that. Perhaps you could send a photo of you conducting or playing in an orchestra, you in your military uniform or college athletic uniform, etc.?
So go dig out that old box of memories and share if you wish. Not only would we like to have an accurate historical account, but this would help motivate some of the current and upcoming students. We have also had guest speakers in the past and would like more. If you are interested, please let us know.

Grand Union
Thought I would repost this since we have so many new members. I received this link from Tom Jones (Class of '77). A bit of nostalgia. These photos of the old Grand Union are fantastic. Enjoy!

ALMA MATER
Though our pathways sever, as we travel on life's road,
In our hearts you'll live forever, when we think of times we spent together.
We will always stand together, it makes no difference what the weather,
Friendship eternal we found it in you, Elmwood Park High School our own.
We will be proud to shout from every rafter, our pledge will stand forever after,
Long will we cherish the memories of you, Elmwood Park High School our own.
We will share our triumphs, let our laughter linger on,
Will you boast our honors proudly, for our spirit reflects all your glory.
Fun and laughter in our school days, but still our grades were worthy of praise,
We will remember your guidance, your care, Elmwood Park High School our own.

Town Info
For all of you who have not been to EP in a while here are some changes you may not be aware of. Hillman's Golf Course is gone; making way for offices, hotel, etc. Grand Union and Grand Way are long gone, too. The Elmwood Shopping Center is not even close to the way it used to be, sad to say. Now Grand Union is a Walgreens, Grand Way is a Kmart, Valley Bank is still there and in its parking lot by Elmwood Ford is a Pathmark. All of the stores have changed as well as the layout of the parking lot. Good news is Pizza Town is still alive and well (gotta love that place!) Falls View East is now River View, but basically the same with car shows weekly in the summer playing some of the old music, you know the stuff that many of us grew up with. Adams Diner is still a diner, but not the same name; Parkway Diner is new and improved. Boro Field is still there with a Recreation Center, a Football/Baseball hut, three ball fields, soccer, basketball, and yes, still the tank on the corner. The Rec Center includes a small water park, swings, and Senior Center.
Well I think that's it for now. Thoughts, ideas, photos, links to sites of interest (including slide shows) can be emailed to me. Your help is very much appreciated. Please keep in mind that inappropriate content of any kind will not be tolerated.
